I think we should all just learn to get along. I'll say it again, any arguing/back and forth trolling with Peachy should be kept separate in another thread and we can leave this to Ubies discussion.
You guys spend way too much time making noise and not enough time actually making any progress. Now pay attention!

every pm player has done the song and dance that every pub player brags about. tons of kills, juice chaining, beating large parties by themselves with a variety of classes, etc. so what happens when this got boring? yepp, private matches. lets combine all those players to 6v6 each other, and it was a success. its a great time of having the best vs the best on a regular basis, so what do we do? hey lets entertain ourselves with a little mvp voting. what is there to gain? i guess not much. the playmakers get the satisfaction of other people noticing their ability while newer players view results and maybe want to get better and be more among the voting next time around (such as knivez who mentioned something along those lines in a different thread). nope lets have a bunche of whiney douchebags come in and try to ruin it for us and create a bunch of needless trouble in a thread that was otherwise surprisingly successful among the pm players.

looks like those same seven people have the biggest impact on the matches, and are usually picked in the first 7-8 spots when deciding teams.

call it a conspiracy, circle jerk, whatever. i voted completely unbiased in all of my categories, this is exactly who i felt deserved each vote from what i have seen take place in a large number of private matches, and when i see or play with these people in public matches the numbers and dominance are just plain stupid and boring (why we choose to do privates). and the public matches i have played nobody measured up to these people. that is why my votes are this way, and i assume why everyone elses' votes are this way.

people who dont vote are not refusing to buy into elitism, they are just ignoring the truth of what was supposed to be something fun, and are buying into the cries of people who choose to whine and complain instead of just play the game

Peachy's a lost cause, quit trying to explain anything to him. For a little I thought skill was the new deadeye, but I completely forgot about peachy. You get offered a chance to play, and turn it down. So quit your bitching, but you probably just crave the attention.

    Guys it's simple..

Randomtoon just got the game, did good in a pub match and recieved an invite to his first PM where he wasn't up to par with the rest of us. He didn't care, gave it his best, asked for tips, and wanted to improve.

Peachy spends the entire time playing this game juice chaining unpresitged players in pubs. Talk a big game on the forum and try to troll others but just end up making himself look bad. He gets an invite to a PM that allows him to play what class he wants, with teammates who will have positive attitudes and allow him to do what you want.

What's the difference? One is a lost cause and doesn't have an ego to maintain.

Zoom, there are quite a few people who are able to play multiple classes at a high level. Plus, a lot of players have a hard time judging people because they're too busy dealing with what's in front of them. Playing assault allows me to view a bit of everything, and I've been matched up against plenty of players on various classes. I wouldn't say my votes are right, but consider mine the most diverse. Since it's the same people who are getting the votes, I could understand why some people would think it's a circle jerk, but the really these players are capable to play at a high level on most if not all classes. It's tough because players like chollo and murky caliber are really good players, and great picks in private matches. Chollo's gunner is good, could most likely beat mine, but even he knows that miracle is ridiculous.

There is some legitimate praise though. It may sound a little back handed, but there are times I'm pushing bots in on goldie and I'm real close to dropping the ball and she'll hit the anni, and completely turn the tide of the game. There are plenty of games where I won't get it once and she'll get it EVERYTIME. Miracle's gunner is leagues ahead of mine just like goldie's anni awareness is leagues ahead of mine.

Gemicide has the gunner overhealed all the time. He's a favorite in many gunner's book because of how well he stays on them. Turntables however isn't a favorite in the eyes of a gunner, but he got my vote for most aware to weakened players. Both have pro's and con's, but deserve the vote they recieved. LiL Bloo Panda probably is the best support at staying a live. He'll keep the gunner overhealed, but does a good job of building juice and utilizizing it, as well as his shot gun.

Psh! If Ace came back tomorrow y'all would be begging for mercy.

BTW, which one was Ace again?

Also, is it a coincidence that every time I type 'ace' with predictive text on my phone, the autocorrect changes it to 'bad'?

Nope. I have a natural tendency to agree with myself so ... I have to disagree with you here.

I seriously might be missing your point, but since I have absolutely zero competitive gaming experience outside of MNC, the way I see it is from the standpoint of your average/decent pub player. Sure, I might spend time in your parties and think of some of you as friends, but when it comes to flaunting video game skills in a forum that is all but empty aside from the people that regularly receive these praises ... I don't know ... it's not really doing anything for anyone.

You just seem to be electing the best 6 players in a 20 player community. This 20 player community was created by you and others, but at the same time, do you notice more than 3-4 other pub players hanging around here? No. It's just us, and I feel as though we have alienated some potential talent just because pride, egos, whatever got in the way of us welcoming them to a part of the game that we enjoy so much. That whole "last time I played you in a pub, you sucked" <snip> crap can easily become more intimidating than inviting.

I know this thread is supposed to be well intended, but it just adds to the odor of superiority that lingers around a few of the people here.

If you disagree or fail to see my point, that's fine. Please carry on.

I agree with most of this post, but I just want to make it a point that most of the "play my team, play privates" stems off of pub players running their mouths. I'm not saying this is always the case, but it is justified on certain occasions.

id vote but i think its kind of unfair to some of the people I have never had the chance to play against.

Theres people who have stepped up their game last time i played
:ie goldielocks and it just goes to show how a month and some time practicing helps make things noticeable.

I mean Id vote but its just not fair to people like panda etc who are getting better each day they play.

Held the community together, never got into fights, was a huge leader figure, constantly set up privates, got most people into privates back in the day, revolutionized the assassin, "Dey ball down", created Jeff voice, Kckzi voice, and every other retarded voice that spawned off of the original PU5H impression, and much more.
