What would be the point of turrets built on the other side of the base? Do I get my money back?

They currently spawn only jackbots on the right side of your base come OT. Do you get your money back?

Generally the left side is usually reinforced more then the right side (since your left is your opponent's right). Jackbots will only spawn on the right, and an escorted jackbot can tear through your entire base with ease.

EDIT: I think on one map that jackbots only spawn on the left  .

Maybe its reversed on some maps, right now my memory is failing me. Either way, they always only spawn on one side the whole match.

Should just keep it how it is. Dont wind up nerfing juice to the point no one going to use it. I will pop juice all the time to stop a juiced up guy in my base its not that difficult. Just grapple them :/

    Frequent lag says otherwise.

Lag is the main problem such as when people turn on godmode and absorb a clip and a half This is talking about juice. Juice in OT is fine as it is. It makes it more intense when you have to rush quickly over there buy juice quickly then get at the money ball. Ever think of just camping the juice machines?

Sure but how does camping the juice machines help my team defend my moneyball or destroy theirs? It's not like every player doesn't start with 40% juice already. Heck, a Sniper can juice up inside of a single clip while hitting the Moneyball and an Assassin is not far behind. Even if you block them from buying juice you basically took out one option, not stopped all of them.

Anyway, my point and the point that many others have tried to make is that OT should not be about juice rushing but about pushing bots into the enemy base. Juice Rushing turns MNC from a strategic shooter into an overpowered version of TDM. If I wanted to play TDM there are many better shooters available.

I actually didn't realize this topic was sarcastic until I read the author's snippy responses to other people who did >_>

Personally, I have way less trouble killing a juiced player in pitched battle than I do stopping one from sneaking into my base without my knowledge and killing my ball in twenty seconds. It's not like juice makes you a demigod, nor is it even a guaranteed victory on your turrets or whatever if you have a player or two playing some defense (which isn't a bad idea when your ball is down, like it is in overtime) I think Uber's solution is spot-on.

Although at first I didn't think this sounded like a reasonable fix at all, I'm going to venture a guess that the Devs bothered to play test with this change before moving on to implement it.

Personally I still support the elimination of overtime, just make the game end unless both moneyballs have the same amount of health.

You are right, it makes you a god.
And i love having 2 players on defense (when the ball isn't down), that just means i get 2 more kills along with the turrets.
Your only option is a grapple. Which works occassionally, but shouldn't too often if the juiced player is paying attention.

The loading screen message about Draws on Even health always makes me laugh. As if that is ever going to happen.

My biggest concern is when my team has done some damage to the enemy moneyball and they haven't done any. Then it goes to OT and next thing you know, I get juice rushed and we lose. If you have done more damage to the enemy moneyball than they have to you it should go OT otherwise, you win. OT is usually just in case of a tiebreaker.

So....i should not try to hurt the opponents money ball to increase my chances of winning...

Well here's a great example of a defense failed. I had two 3.3 RockIt turrets next to my Moneyball in addition to my 3.3 Firebase setup to cover the top ring and part of the bottom. I had joined late so I saved up what money I could and kept my turrets healed using juice to get a few extra dollars when possible. OT hits and I get the normal juicer or two at a time. I grapple one and finish them off, shotgun the second and heal my turrets making sure to reapply the hack as needed. This continues for a while but it simply doesn't matter as every time they come in they deal 10%+ damage to the Moneyball despite having ideal defenses in place.

Never once did a bot make it to my Moneyball. Never once did they destroy my turrets. I think I died a few times but not in OT. No matter what I did the turrets simply didn't do much to the attackers. In the end my team lost due to damage against our Moneyball but they never managed to destroy it. Before OT hit my team had done more damage to their Moneyball so this type of double standard is ridiculous. Why does damage determine a winner in OT but not for regulation?

My bad, I meant if your team has done more damage to theirs than they have yours, then you win. If same health, then OT. lol
