Star Trek Online and the upcoming Neverwinter. Cryptic Studios is the company that develops both. There was talk of it being included in Champions Online at some point also.

Cryptic also developed City of Heroes and City of Villains, but abandoned it; handing over development to Paragon Studios (named after the main city in City of Heroes). They had a similar system for user generated content called the 'Mission Architect'.

    Random Trivia for you all!

Ah right. That could be very problematic. Reminds me of the time one of the lead programmers at the company I work for tried naming a DLC "Total War". It took half the office pointing out the reasons why he couldn't use it, for him to reconsider

Hmm. If not Foundry, why not have it named '[blank]'s [Blank]', where blank is the name of one of the bigger backers, and Blank is a name for some appropriate structure, like Warehouse, Repository, Stash, Spaceport, Launchpad, etc?

That's a healthy list guys, thanks for participating. There won't be a vote as we have a lot of things to factor in to the decision beyond what sounds cool to the community.

There were some questions like "why charge for mods?" and "does this mean mods won't be free?". We will be releasing more details about this program soon. Suffice it to say there will be both free and paid mods. The important part is for the content creators to have an *opportunity* to earn money from their work. It simply makes modding more attractive to a larger group of developers, which is healthy for the PA platform.

Please lock the thread now then, as it's purpose has been served. It should be allowed to drift down.
