I'm personally having too much fun with Awesomenauts because well.... I've spent over 1500 hours on SMNC. I think this hero needs a little vacation to play all my other games that's been sitting on my steam library. The game really has a vibrant environment that's just as stylish and original as SMNC (in some aspects, better). The soundtrack is jammin', character personalities done right. If you really want to try out and experience a 2D MOBA, give this a go. Plus you can play this in splitscreen and offline-mode for practicing with bots with your friends so you can teach them how to play the game in-person or online before hopping into a real match. The balance in this PC version has been improved greatly compared to the consoles, but the Froggy G's and Leon's will still reign supreme if they know how to play their characters well and your teammates aren't in-sync with you. Though, whether you can truly enjoy the game with some of the matchmaking elements bugged at the moment is up to you. I've won a majority of my games by picking Leon, Froggy G, or Yuri, and sometimes teaming up in 2-man or 3-man teams. Xbox Controller approved as well. Smite... Awesomenauts.... Bunch of games on my steam library. Oh man too many games.
So a friend gave me a key to this recently and played a match Too much **** going on for mei got a kill though. Probably because I haven't played Dota or League of Legends :|
It takes a while to get used to. That and the community is worse than SMNC's Guy that fails at holding a lane-"God my team is ****"
