Assaults Being Overhealed.

Terrible idea, if you want to buff assault then buff it, no need to nerf other class abilities (support).

No class is a lone wolf, this is a team game.


To improve mobility of assault they should increase fly speed, i never buy since its useless compared to the other skills.

While I agree with the idea of increasing the fly speed to equal his base move speed. I'd like to point out that Jet 2 has a significant boost in speed over Jet 1 (jet 3 is a teeny tiny boost over jet 2 and really not worth it.) I didn't know this originally but someone proved me wrong when I thought it wasn't true.

Maybe jet3 could remove accuracy lost when flying, i would certainly be interested in buying that. Would see more flying assaults in combat which would spice up gameplay.

An assault that is overhealed is two players working together. It makes sense that you would need another player or get the drop in order to get the kill...

The speed of jet 2 and jet 3 is actually a bit faster than his normal run speed

There are many reasons fly 2 and 3 are better. Mainly, flying duration is in fact useful in itself, especially in a sniper infested GIII and Spunky.

Actually, I don't much care for fly 3 (does anyone?), but I do usually support upgrading fly 2, especially on those maps.

I should also add fly speed to my "Complete Strategy Guide" assault section. I think I will quote one of y'all, for reminding me of it (I already knew it).

These days I've changed my initial assault upgrades to passive+flight, mostly for the extra speed

I like the flight 3 enough that it's sometimes my first lv3 upgrade, depending on the map and how the game is going. Sometimes.

I might make a support only MNC channel on youtube in an attempt to maybe help new players who want to play support. I played against one once who was trying to heal me to death so I definitely understand your frustration

I'd be able to heal assaults more if they didn't ever so often decide to press the E button once my heal beam managed to touch them. :|

When I play Support I tend to be basically a walking dispenser doling out the heals and saving people all the time. Unfortunately it usually ends with me losing star rating and being on the bottom of the scoreboard despite pushing the team to a victory.

I don't mean any offense to you with this post, just a critique. Support is way more capable than what you use him for. If you aren't getting kills as a Support then your doing something wrong. Yes healing is very important but he has many more uses than simply healing. Money may be an issue so you may find yourself on the lower half of the score board but you still should make quite a bit of money out of bot kills. Plus your firebase clogs up a bot lane which means you can be juicing every couple bot spawns if you simply melee bots while your firebase targets them. If that doesn't get you kills than I don't know what will. I am almost always end up with a positive K/D typically 10:0 or something close and I stillconsider myself a very "heal oriented" Support.

The thing is goose, good/smart players wont let you use your firebase for long periods of time at the mid/front lines. But if it is far back then you are only getting bot kills if the enemy is pushing you into your base.

As for killing people? I usually do get a decent number of kills with air strikes, or shotgunning bad assassins. Other than that though I'm healing people/turrets/bouncers. Most of my money comes from my gapshots or a hacked rocket launcher combined with not dying often granted my streak bonuses.

Well I'm not certainly one to judge ones playstyle without seeing it. I'll just take your word for it

EDIT: and with a good team and a well placed Firebase, it is much harder to take out a Firebase than it is to defend it assuming other teammates are doing there job as well.
