I think I see the source of our disagreement.

My PoV for my arguments is that I'm virtually alone in a crossfire match. Now, if you're playing with someone reliable, that's a different story altogether. What with my jumping into Crossfire constantly, I usually take it upon myself to be aggressive and win the game. I'm also usually the only one. So, in that context, Armor is a necessity.

    I completely agree w/Randomdude

I played aganist him yesterday and we were both assaults, even though we were both not scrubs, he ended up beating me in most of the encounters we had and one of the reasons was because he had Armor. If i ran armor, it would be more of 50/50.

also, funny suicide support you had.

Edit: also the reason im not bashing on RoF because like i said before, it only tends to make secondaries not useful and if you got rid of it, then the Assault, Tank, Gunner and even sniper would be a joke long range (unless the sniper is a god at getting headshots)

You know what's silly? I play solo Randy McTryhard in Crossfire too. I know that the quality of my teammates will range from pretty good, to money-farm-for-opponents. However, I still trust that my teammates will do their part, even if we don't know each other. Even if my teammates just got the game 5 minutes ago, I trust that they will at least attempt to do something for the team, whether this is intentional or otherwise.

Experience and knowledge of the game is a powerful tool, more so in this game than in many others. Trust in your allies though, is also very powerful, as there is no class or endorsement setup that will turn you into a one man (or woman) army. Say I'm playing Tank, and the other team has a couple of good Assaults/Gunners/Snipers. I ignore them. Unless they actually get in my face, I just ignore them. Yes they will kill me, and yes I will have great trouble killing them. However, I focus on my current class' strengths, and how my playstyle can take advantage of them.

I also know that having some decent class balance is needed for victory. Are many of my teammates choosing light classes like Sniper or Assault? I go Tank to add some meat to the team. Are most of my teammates being heavy classes like Gunners and Tanks? I'll play Support or Assassin to complement their strengths. Are 4 of my 6 teammates Assassin? I go silly and play roflsniper while defending the base.

I remember that. Fun times all around, though I am very much scrub like. 'bout to lose a fight? LOLCHARGE!!! Dear, it was nice to get a break from my Suistrikes.

Yeah. Tryin' to get to 2500 Airstrike kills. Tryin'. Currently at 1905. Al. Most. There.

And, to StarPilot, I wouldn't trust my team to tell me what color we were, let alone for support. You are far more lenient than I am.

I am beginning to agree with the idea of no armor. I think that all of the players should be set to silver armor as default. I think it should be this way because it is the perfect balance for most of the classes except for assassin. Assassins need all the health they can get, and I don't play assassin that much, but they are way too easy to kill.

I played against ChaosFF7 today who used Armor/RoF/Accuracy and went 64-4 against me and my team. I only died four times, but if I had run an armor build I could have done a little better. It is frustrating because every time I run armor, it always seems like I lack killing power.
