Im just saying you earn just as much killing bots as you do pros.. all the players who play assassin and tank have the highest earnings. Go look on the leaderboards.

I played wallace's team in the draft tourney and it was 2/5 games we won and they won the rest 3/5. Each game we got their ball down and kept it down and won despite being slaughtered in kills.

The games vs team futtbuck we took two into overtime and lost and the other we won before overtime.

Again I mixed them up..
Sorry for the confusion.. as to you tiger what do you have to do with any of these tourney games when I never played you ? You joined new scum or futtbuck?

ok sorry .. when we played the draft tourney it was pretty much what your roster is with a couple of subs.
Wallace, Mano, Templar, and a couple others

I don't run Armor on any of my main classes, as far as I can remember.

Oh I was wrong, I run it on my sniper, but that's because i'm a bad sniper.

Armor is no longer necessary with a majority of the players. If I run into an opposing Gunner in any armor, my gold Crits and silver RoF close the ground rapidly, usually giving me the win in the fight. True I have trouble with Assaults, and every gunner, no matter the build, has trouble with good snipers, but it isn't that big of a deal.

It all depends on the player and how they play... gunners who fly and claw are harder to sniper rather then grounded gunners

when you said New Scum, I assumed you meant the team that played in the Fragged tourney. Which was Wallace, Me, Manouso, PohTayToez, and Dude.

as far as the upcoming tournament, I'm with Scum. I wasn't sure if Wallace was getting the team back together so I was looking at different teams.

to get a little bit back on topic, RoF is useful but isnt a necessity unlike armor . Whats the point of RoF if you cant hit the broad side of a tank's bottom

Also you gotta account lag. Lag always affects RoF but it never affects armor. Also theres a good share of people who dont use RoF like kckzi because most of the time, RoF is used if you like to use some classes secondary weapons. For example the Tank and Assault are laughable without RoF long ranges but that can be easily fixed, just get in closer, and what if someone is hitting you long range? Solution, just retreat for now and find a way to get closer simple as that. It really isnt hard for an assault to get up all in your face.

Ok, Feedle, my team was completely unorganized, I'd hardly call it a tournament match. The real competition was the top seed.

Also have you seen how kckzi plays? Every fight he knows he has a disadvantage in, he runs away. The only time you should choose the objective over dying as a slayer class is when the moneyball is down.

Yes you can't be hanging back in your base but you shouldn't be dying in every fight you get into.

The problem with your strategy as a tank of only playing objective has many flaws.

A) Your class is a hybrid purpose class, he can pro control great aside from pushing bots. Your tank should be on slayer duty unless your assassin needs help pushing bots. If you only kill bots, you loose a pro slayer in mid and you take money and juice away from your assassin.

B) You may make quite a bit of money from pushing bots, but the enemy makes all of that money back plus and extra $25 for killing you, because we're just going to kill the bots you were pushing so the money evens out. And when we get streaks off of killing you, we're gaining $100 almost every time we kill you. Which we will put towards juice, annihilator and rarely turrets.

My strategy has always been get the ball down and never let it get back up. Anyone who has played out team knows this. This is what we all have trained to do.

Worrying about dying in a match makes your game plan panic and throws everything off. Sure I do alot.. more then others but the whole point is I stop the other team from getting anything in. I could easily go around slaying people and pick a slaying class but then the rest of my team suffers because they dont focus on the bots.

When I kill a wave of bots I get 10$ for each kill plus the coin on the ground. Jackbot kills are well worth it and I upgrade or build something during every death. It also helps me scout a little better cause if someone is in our base trying to rush I usually try and stop them or blossom what they try to leak in.

I see your saying im throwing money to the team etc but thats my own game plan when i play. When the ball goes down everyone sacrifices themselves to nail it within every 20 seconds to keep it down and win the game.

Its one of the best strategies out there as opposed to complete team juice rushes/spawn kiling etc.

Again we play a different style then most.
Ask a few of the people who have played is in tourneys.

Ask liberty of ruin... when he played us he was shocked on how well we kept the ball down in those couple of games despite wallace's team slaughtering us in kills.

You can't push bots in if you're not alive.

Let me rephrase; reducing the times you have to back up wins you the game.
