Anyone else feeling the irony with the PC Beta?

What you say might be true for the US market but the PC has been picking up speed in the last few years thanks to Steam & Co. And this is especially true for Indie games and new gaming models.

The traditional PC DVD box on a shelve will be an endangered species in a few years. However there are a lot of new business models that take flight and will replace the traditional $50 box. Steam, Free2play, micro-transactions, MMOs, DLC... The retailers took PC games off the shelves and replaced them with console games. They left large parts of the market to Steam. Now they complain that Steam has become a giant and that they can't compete with them.

Well, tough luck retailers. You left, we didn't.

Yes, yes it is. Because we can make new content and make crazy mods. Maybe a low gravity mod on a giant skyscraper. Or a gun than turns you into the size of a mouse.

I'm probably a rare case but....

I'll will still play MNC on XBOX360 at home but NOW I can play it at work too! Woo hoo.

I'll probably play it on the PC because I sold my xbox recently. :/ You bastards better come visit me on PC MNC. Snarf Snarf.
