We all know what I'm listening to for the rest of the night now...

Anyways, I play drums. And I'm actually fairly good at it. I'll end up posting a video at some point. I've played around in Virtual DJ a little bit and made a few mixes, but nothing top notch at all. Just playing around with effects more than anything.

My brother's going to end up teaching me how to mix songs and make beats on an MPD, etc. Now if he were home more often...

I am from Kansas (Wichita/Valley Center).

I play mostly classical piano but also compose. Have played piano alone for 15 years, 2 to 5 hours daily.

    L. Spiro you just became my hero! You sir are truly amazing! When I was younger I used to play piano a lot and you are fantastic. Moonlight Sonata is among the best pieces of music ever written! That and Turkish March. It has been so long since I played a piano though, at least 10+ years, but when I did it was all great classical masterpieces. My family keeps urging me to play again but my passion now is guitar so I plan on learning the guitar versions...that is when I get a guitar again some day.

Your other performances are great as well! Your technique is flawless as well as the production quality. I am a bit envious at the moment.

I'd love to hear more from you!
    :ugeek:

    P.s. Yoo is truly AMAZING!

    [Edit]
May I ask what DAW and other programs you use to compose, record and master?

Thank you. I didnt expect such a reaction!

However, although two of the songs were dedicated to women I liked, both relationships ended. I guess it doesnt really help to make a song for a girl.

The hardware I use is a Yamaha MOTIF XF8 with digital out to an ESI Juli@ professional audio card.

For production I use Cubase AI 5. I record all parts by playing them live (even the wind and ghost sound effects in Heart of Uha were played live on the keyboard) rather than pasting notes. It sounds better that way.

Mastering is done mostly on the Yamaha MOTIF XF8 because it has a decent-enough masterer already.

I record with Audacity 1.3.12 (Beta) and also use it for a few final touch-ups. I plan to look into more professional mixing/mastering software soon.
