I run PA fine on 2 completely different machines (one Intel + Nvidia laptop, another AMD + Nvidia desktop).

Usually problems like these can be sorted out. First question, could you be so kind as to post a DXDIAG report for your machine (assuming windows)?

I'm sure we can get the game sorted out and running for you- also quite a few of the guys at Uber can be very helpful however they tend to get defensive if you go in guns blazing.
