    so @jables, considering this idea is unilaterally loved. could it please be integrated to the game?

    I'd assume it isn't in the game because it's more trouble than it's worth.

    no it's not. it's a simple math problem: vector intercept with another (but limited lenght and very short) vector.

    that easy. apply a nuke to the surface roughly corresponding to intercept point, make lazor stop being drawn beyond that point.

    this is nothing like real unit transport or unit cannon.

    this is legitimately easy for them to code.

    what sacred cow of yours is all of the sudden threatened by this? if at all? if it's not then why bother to say this?

    you could choose either the second vector or the planet surface as intersect point.

    from what I gather using a vector drawn from planet edge to planet edge would make the calculation and figuring out where the nuke goes much easier.

    considering the orbital realm in PA is strictly speaking 2D, you could really simplify your calculations that way.
