Yeah I feel you on that, I only have a keyboard atm, though I'm thinking of investing in an electric piano with a full sized weighted keyboard. My parents have one and its surprisingly good to play. It's not quite the same as a full piano but it's all I'm going to be able to sensibly fit in the place I live in (i actually have a real piano that's currently being stored at my aunt's house- problem is its an iron framed Victorian piano that takes 4 people to move, and I live in an upstairs flat).

Violet I used to play piano and if you think that this is not that hard then you need to redefine what you consider as being difficult.

Basic summary:
That **** isn't easy to perform.

I still do play piano. That makes my hands hurt just looking at it.

I'd say it's around grade 7 classical on the UK associated board system (8 is the top 'amateur' grade, beyond which you're talking going into higher education to study it professionally).

To a professional concert pianist this is probably pretty straightforward. To a beginner it would be impossible- so either @violetania is *very good* on the piano, or she's showing off

I did grade 3 then I just sort of started going off and doing my own thing. My sight reading is appalling, but I can entertain a pub crowd - that's all the approval I need

FMA: started watching that. It's good.

I'm watching Naruto. Definitely fun, but there's so goddamn much filler. I don't really mind filler, but this is ridiculous.

@cwarner7264 @nicb1 and @cdrkf.... lol???? I've been playing since i was 3 and i got to grade 6 when i was 11 or 12. Then i quit formal lessons cause my teacher hit me too much and i just played for fun... i guess maybe i just spent more time on piano?
In australia i think we have a similar system, grades up to 4 are beginners, then grades 5,6,7,8 and cmus are intermediate, then there's amus, lmus and fellowship.
So in saying that i'm pretty average =P
