How would you rate Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai out of 10. If I'm going to invest the time watching 12 episodes it'd better rate highly.
9/10 It's a very fun series to watch but it takes time, especially in the beginning to get to the fun stuff. Imagine after being away on a long vacation, you return to your childhood home and where you spent all your good years. Imagine finding it in shambles and watching your memories being swept away. That's basically the premise of the show. The English dub is actually very good. You also need to see Mushishi.
:? Wanna change that before Pyre goes apeshit? edit What, so I can't say apesh1t but twat's ok??? I've found a subbed one 'cos I hate dubbed... this'd better be good
English dubbing has never been good. Way too sh!tty, it feels like the dubbers don't take their jobs seriously. None of them are as good as Kana Hanazawa. Seriously.
There are some seiyuu's that are bad at it, too. In America and other non-Japanese speaking countries, we tend to add that sort of recognizable element that gives the show a familiar feeling. If you were to compare something like this and something english-dubbed, you can see clear distinctive differences.
I don't want this thread to get locked so I'll keep my words clean. Hitomi Tanaka (???) She has the fakest melons ever and she's not even cute. Okay, back to the topic.
