Tell me what they were tripping on when they made that movie so I can avoid it like the plague.

Today's Attack on Titan had me about ready to scream at Armin to get his act together because they chose to believe in him and he was wasting too much time ("You have 15 seconds"), but he did well in the end.

But screw that captain...seriously. I know being in a world like that makes you scared, but to try and blow up your one shot at turning things in your favor...

Just finished it.

Armin's machismo levels were on some 2002 Mike Tyson lashing out on a fan.

For once, I thought Armin was cool.

He was cool. He's taken quite the backseat so far, but it was nice for him to have his moment here. He used his intelligence. Though it's a shame it kind of wasn't going to matter in the end, but I believe he convinced a few people and at the very least it bought time for Pixis(?) to show up.

And fun disappointing fact, just learned episode 14 is going to be a recap..

Recap?! God, I already experienced this shit with Bakemonogatari.

It was brutal.

haha, as someone who used to watch Naruto dedicatedly, you sorta get used to these things. Doesn't stop me from hating em, but I'm used to it. Not so much with shorter shows though. I prefer new filler over recap, I know it helps new fans but I hate seeing the same thing again and again.

But it's a win win for us. Why? The quality of the anime won't drop. Read the manga and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anyway people said this is basically meaning ep 13 ends the first arc and the second is something about some female titan or something, so sounds good to me.

I am not huge into anime but Cowboy Bebop as well as Death Note, Neon Ev and some of the other more popular ones I have watched and liked, but I haven't watched any in about a year or so.

Well if you need a recommendation from this season, join us on the hype train for Attack on Titan (or "Shingeki no Kyojin"), you might like it.

The arc with the female titan is really good. Really really good.

Anyway I'm falling behind on my other anime again because I started playing Civ V after that free weekend. I need to get back on Naruto just for this month because that was my mini-goal.

I love the way the abnormal titans run in Attack on Titan, just so funny xD

Speaking of Naruto, I marathoned the "Power" filler arc, episodes 290-295 tonight, it wasn't bad at all. It was almost movie like, they actually tried. I'm one of those who doesn't really hate (non recap) filler, but I really do think this one was good. The story still felt a little loophole-y but mostly sound and they managed to make me feel for the fat guy and the orphans a bit.

I still follow its manga every week and it seems to be ending next year.
