I'm sure this attempt at animating this way has never been done before but if you're going use rotoscope, it has to be done perfectly. If you fail, you'll end up with "The Uncanny Valley Show".

Japanese chicks aren't that bad.

Imai Asami and Miyano Mamoru's voice acting skills are god-like.

Aku no Hana, first impressions.

Worst. Anime. Ever.

Horrible animation and terrible music.

I'll just stick with the manga since the plot looks interesting.

I feel like reading something since I've mostly wrapped up the series I've been watching.

Should I go with manga(Akira, Nausicaa, or Gantz), real books(Slayers or something western) or VNs(mostly ones that look bad but I've gotten too many recommendations to ignore).

When I read I have to go full on exclusive since I'm not as good at managing multiple stories. So nothing else storywise till it's done. Unless it's bad and I drop it.

I've only played 2 VNs in my entire life.

Ever played/heard of Kana Imouto? I do a playthrough every 6 months or so. Great story. This comes from a massive literature snob who looks down on basically every other form of storytelling.

Nausicaa. One of the greatest graphic novels in the history of . . . ever. It's by Miyazaki, so no surprise.

I've done a few. A couple were great, most were mediocre.

I'm watching Yosuga no Sora for the 2nd time and Oreimo season 2. Incest shit left and right. Kinda getting tired of it.

The 2 I've played were pretty fun. Reading Japanese was tiring though.

The first one was so mediocre that I felt angry after watching it. Speaking of feeling angry, has anyone else seen School Days? That show left me bloody furious.
