PP sold good BD numbers but not good enough for an Urobuchi project, lol. If it didn't look like too much Hitman Reborn-ish then I may would've watched it.
Good. You're watching the top #1 and #3 anime of 2011. I prefer S;G more. I can't count how many times I've watched EP 22 (T ^ T) The original work, the game itself was awesome too. The first 11 episodes are kinda weak and they might bore you a little but don't drop it. Just keep going. Things will get interesting. As for Mado Magi, buy the tickets and watch the movies now! (If they're still available at your place) If you're wondering what's the #2, go check AnoHana. BD (sales) numbers DON'T lie.
I thought S;G was weak and overrated. It's pretty much a pointless drama with no substenance and a weak cast of less than 10 characters.
I'm very interested at your impression on it. I would appreciate a crystal clear breakdown of why you think that way, without posting spoilers since some people are still watching it. Just in case, f you think posting spoilers are necessary to back up your everything you've said, please send them in a PM to me. I'm not shaking nor scratching my head at all. I'm just very curious.
I couldn't give Steins Gate more than a single episode. Normally I wait till episode 3 or 4 to drop something, but it was just so boring and I didn't like any of the characters.
Shows with so little characters just makes me feel oddly claustrophobic. The setting made me feel bit negative because it was so... bland. I can't recall any of the characters interacting with a pedestrian besides the part where mad scientist guy talks to an American. Shows that don't even sport pedestrians come off as really, really cold. I didn't like the plot, either. Most plots have an underlying main conflict. In S;G, the conflict was mainly internal. The only threatening thing outside of the main cast's realm seemed to be the part where people with AK-47s stormed the building. The characters aren't as good as people made them to be, either. Some seem to be thrown in for funsies like super hacker guy which has a forced role. I don't remember much of the story because it just seemed so mediocre to me, but there are the thoughts I could recollect.
So Einstein's Gate is overrated then and it tries to be more than what it really is? Well, that saves me a couple of hours.
Double post Anime today relies on a lot of gimmicky, moe crap. That's why I'm going back to watch some of the old shit. EDIT: Reminder to finish Michiko to Hatchin
I just today realised that means we won't get a happy ending to Psycho Pass. I wasn't expecting one, but that guarantees it. I hope nobody I like has to die
I do think that MadoMagi's 3rd movie will have a happy ending. I really hope Madoka and Homura reunite. They look perfect together.
Just finished MAR manga, and was really surprised by the amount of differences between it and the anime. Now I just got Omega to go.
Ayanami > Asuka Edit: However, the Asuka from the remakes is alright. The original one made my ears bleed, especially at the last 2 episodes. People mistake the first Asuka for a tsundere. She's just tsun, no dere at all.
