What do you think? Its just the slammer particle effect with more stretch and ofcourse in the white colour. I've tried adding a smoke tail but it just looks weird when i did that. What do you think of colour usage? Any specific colours that could work. The purple bright really works well for slammers but I think it won't work for this. Maybe a bit blueish? like dark blueish? Gonna try and add the rings to the trails
I dunno, it'd seem weird for the projectiles fired by a conventional tank to be dark blue. Yellowish-orangish?
Forgot to mention this will probably for the t2 tank. the t1 will get the t2 standard effect probably.
looks alright i am thinking about a kinda cyanish color similar to the ioncanoneffect in your avatar though darkblue with a good ammount of white may work too) also instead of smoke trails how bout magnetic rings (or particletrail maybe? ) or a bit longer thin trail similar to the gil-e beam ... ... ... or both ...
Personally more favorited with the bronze orange one. Don't mind the turret flash since i tried something but it wouldn't works so im going to keep the original one. Added some smoke when the tank fires and i'll probably add and ending explosion too. I tried having the magnetic rail but it'll need me to brush up on my python skils which isn't my strong thing. I also think it'll look unnoticable or weird because you have 2 shells firing. That means that i have to avoid the circles interferring. Also the brightness of the cyan one needs to go down a bit more. Opinions?
too bad with the rings the reason i suggested a cyan/blueish color was to avoid having the projectile look simmilar to the grenadiers one ... both look realy good though
Dom is there a way to rename tons of folders, like the entire /pa/sea directory with an L_ in front of each name like: battleship folder changes to L_battleship with python? It's for a mod, and it's too tedious to rename so many folders.
You are on windows aren't you? Done: Put inside the directory you want to have it rename stuff, i.e. inside the 'sea' dir. Then run. If you run it again it undo's the renames.
CMD says something about the 'generator' object having no attribute called 'next' (in line 6). I wouldn't know what this means. Does it work for you? Sorry for hijacking this thread, lol.
Can you do python --version and tell me the output? Also, are you on windows? Actually, lets take this to PM
You know whats fun when playing with the particle system from time to time. Doing something else lol . Spread the love.....
