I visited this forum after 4 days of my last visit, and this was the first thing that caught my eye.

The excitement is literally dripping out of my butthole right now

That's nothing. I had 11 fans and two video cards with 3 each. 4x 120mm case fans, 2x 120mm thin case fans, 2x 120mm cpu cooler fans, and 3x 40mm intake fans. Oddly enough, it was very quiet. This was until my budget fan speed controller died and started making my fans make funny noises. Now I just keep a rear exhaust and side exhaust for my video cards, and the two CPU cooler fans are still there.

Oh, and Uber, you guys wouldn't have a new F5 key you could spare, would you? I seem to have broken mine.

Man I hope it's here by Wednesday.....

I WOULD ask Garat an estimate because he's so informed about all this but if we got that and they shipped the keys even ONE DAY LATE everyone would freakout (GARAT PM ME) :p

Can you at least answer this question?

Seriously, it's been like 13 days and you guys haven't told me if my setup will work.

That's how it seems....no alpha today :( but they DID say they were making last minute changes so either tomorrow or Wednesday. If they went Thursday they'd kinda be pushing it...

It's still 2pm here in PST-land, not closing time yet. I'm sure they'll let us know either way. Maybe.

It's possible that we will roll out some keys today but if so it will be a small number. Still working away on the build with a couple of major crash issues that we know about.

Pushing it? This isn't some sort of release.. they are working, as we speak, on a piece of software that should turn out to be a game in the end of 2013. One line of code can make or break a build. The server software is far from polished and likely consumes way more resources then needed. Blizzard and EA had issues releasing their game which was unplayable for weeks due to overloaded servers, it is highly likely Uber is making changes to the server and client, as we speak, trying to avoid that.

Just show patience, we all get to play an Alpha build when Uber deems it playable without crashing too often.

Of course you test in production. Bug reports are way more effective when they're repeated 80,000 times in caps.
