ALPHA ROLLOUT STATUS

I wonder if you know they released 500-600 keys yesterday. And then assuming everything is still functioning properly they will be sending out anywhere from 500- a few thousand today. Which meannnnnnnnn Your count down is for the steam release not the backers and paypals.

(then again I will assume you do know that the work day for them starts at 9am, and on your prev message you stated what I already stated derp.)

Yes, we were promised to get Alpha keys on the end of previous week. Who got?

Here's hoping that they get thru a big chunk of the remaining keys today!

i cant see why they wouldnt, it looks pretty stable with 50 ish players, next step is get a few hundred in there, dont forget when they sent out 600 invites yesterday only about 10-15 % were playing at any given time so they need to send out a few thousand to get a few hundred online at once.

once we have total server stability they look at different client based stability and focus that down to certain hardware/config users. then the remaining invites will be sent.

They might wanna fix some of the issues discovered by the current alpha testers before they release the next batch of alpha keys...

In the new Alpha era, before 600 would be all you need because they were 600 hand picked individuals that were very dedicated to playing the game and reporting bugs. Very few people ever seen a game in alpha stage. It certainly wasn't something you could just buy. The thousands of invites didn't come till beta. I would have started this at least a couple weeks ago to prepare for the launch on Steam.

I'm aware of the time differential, just trying to kill time for myself

Still no key for me Was hoping to hop in and check things out before work but looks like I will have to wait until tomorrow.

At this point I'm glad they key isn't here yet. If I got my alpha key, I'd end up taking a long lunch at home, which might end up in not coming back to work, depending on stability.

I was $90 KS, then upped to a total of $200 later. Still no key.

I guess that means they are going out by KS backer level alone, since $150 KS backers have them and I don't.
