ALPHA ROLLOUT STATUS

i have the same cpu IIRC, have never had any issues with...pretty much anything, ever.

I have a 3570k @ 4.5 GHz and dual 7870 graphics cards. I love the 3570k, I'm just more disappointed in Haswell. It was hardly an improvement over Ivy for desktops. Mobile is another story.

Building a new rig, Haswell is the way to go. Upgrading from Sandy or Ivy, on the other hand, is kind of pointless, hence the sadface.

8 hours of revision has turned my brain to mush, would love a bit of pa to make tomorrows revision a little less hardcore

Problem isn't with performance, but with Intel drivers for OpenGL/GLSL. Right now HD4000 can even run RAGE (OpenGL 4 based-game on Windows) with 20-30 fps, but there is no guarantee that other brand-new OpenGL-based game even launch.

1600x900 on my primary screen and 1280x720 on my secondary, it's my first costum build so take it easy on me

1600x900 is enough for me either way.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

id say Intel cards definitely wont be supported during alpha. ive not seen many alpha games able to use there drivers.

Thought so. ^^ I'm not judging you, I'm just warning people to not burst out statements which can be misunderstood. Wish 900p would be enough for me but since I'm addicted to at least 2560x1440(1080) I had no other option than a 780 ACX SC if I want to have 60 fps @ max. :lol:

1920x1080 is where I like to be. Two monitors at that resolution. Of course I went for the smallest 1080 monitors I could find, for crispy pixel density. Also because of how close I am to my monitor :shock:

I mean from technical side, their games have dual-renderer and work perfect even on very old hardware.
