It's only depends on your Mac hardware. I doubt game will work with Intel HD integrated GPU.

There should be none problems since they don't sell power pc anymore, the only thing that differs now is the build(based on the device) of the parts but they are all normal pc parts now ^^ so don't worry only too old/weak hardware will be a problem.

But I sincerely doubt you plan on using those integrated graphics.

Also, I hope this wasn't an upgrade from sandy or ivy bridge because the difference would be negligible.

I rarely ever have a problem with windows games on my Mac, since the hardware is very similar. It's a 2011 iMac, so it's got the power for this I think. but I'll see and let everybody know.

Don't think so, Intel's OpenGL support are bad on all platforms. Even on Direct3D benchmarks Intel HD 4600 performance is lower than Radeon HD 8670D (which is low-end GPU).

Developers already mentioned that alpha isn't optimized yet and need decent hardware.

Wasn't Mavor saying that the minimum would be Intel HD4000? So it should work...

Minimum for full game, or alpha? As has been mentioned before, alpha is gonna take a whole lot more juice.

But it also doesn't have the post processing effects and doesn't look all that graphically intensive. I'm sure it would be fine on low res and minimum settings, but who knows.

Seeing as it is an RTS and not a FPS, I'd say even averaging around 20-25 FPS is "playable."

I'm not really worried. I've run less then optimized builds of games on my machine before.

Well, here's hoping it runs for everybody! :D
Albeit, it might just not run for anybody...

I am using my costum build:

    intel i5 ivy bridge 3570k @ 3,4 GHz
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB
    8 Corsair Vengeance RAM

I can run all new games at max settings with around 60-90 fps so i have no idea why 1337haxwtg put a sad face after the processor name :p, I think it's an awesome processor for gaming IMO.

He talked about release version of game after it's optimized and drivers bugs fixed by Intel. But right now we waiting for early alpha version of game with engine written from scratch. This tech is have unique architecture and nothing like that done before.

Uber already said that you need decent hardware to run alpha, with Intel's OpenGL game probably won't launch.

I'm not saying this because I think that Uber can't done that, but because I want others to be realistic about what "alpha version" is.

    1. But they mentioned that for "playable" results in alpha for now you would need "high-end', so yeah.. ^^

    2. way too serious answer.. you get a D-! :ugeek:
