I'm waiting on metal points to be implemented to really start playing. For now, I just launch the game after update to see what's new.
I play a quick game here and there with friends but I think that we need new features being worked on asap. Metal Points and Building Collision need to be in for this to feel like a game. As a Tester I boot up relatively often to check bug statuses and whether they've been fixed. As Garat said in this post, it's been a slow week for the usual suspects. Glad I can look forward to new things being added over the coming weeks.
Pretty much this. Though in saying this and the subject of this thread... I don't regret my purchase, I also did it for the commanders and to support the game in general (dem stretch goals ppl). I am predicting exponentially more people will play with increasing functional features. Launching and building on the moon I think is going to be an awesome milestone that gets people on the servers (I assume at this point metal points and building collisions will be in). Most times over the past couple days has just been starting the game up to quickly test a bug before closing it on the tracker for what ever reason.
I play from the very first build, and never stopped. But it's not allways for fun, it's much more about trying to find other bugs or clarying much more the bugs i'm facing. I also try to reproduce each bug i've met in previous build as soon as a new build comes out.
I tend to do similar things as already mentioned I run the game to see what is new or to see if a bug I am aware of has been fixed. I am waiting for an AI that will attack me before I can start really playing as well as metal resource points to be implemented. Sticking to the original topic of the thread, do I regret paying for access to the alpha? Nope, I like tracking the bugs and watching the game being developed over the various builds I'll be testing. I do not expect a fully playable game at this point in time.
What exactly are the full rules for gentlemen's rules? Besides the economy are aquatic tanks allowed? I happen to like playing, like a sir so a full listing must be decided by other fellow gentlemen.
I don't think anybody wrote anything down. For myself I: -use only mexspots to generate mass, however I do build t2 mex on top of existing t1 mex -do not stack buildings on top of each other -do not use navy for the most part, it's just too broken atm -do not use any other kind of clear exploit.
I've started a thread on what we should consider gentlemen's rules but fully agree coca stacking is wrong
