Really? Maybe I get them because I play oldskool games a lot huh?

Well the first one is a reference to SmallWorld, a boardgame, with that line as a subtitle. I honestly never played it though.

The second one is a reference to starcraft (1998) to the ghost, a unit that could launch nukes. (If you had nukes ready in a nuke launcher) The ghost would say that line every time you made one.

On a side note, who likes the fact that planet smashing isn't limited to same size or smaller planets? I personally like throwing a planet at another planet of the exact same mass causing them to EXPLODE INTO ITTY LITTLE PIECES!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

wipe out a planet from the system through smashing it
(or if possible later) or through a metalplanets mainweapon

Unload 100 astraus on an enemy planet in a single command. Or since that many is starting to get unmanageable, within one minute.

"Efficient OCD": finish a game without ever floating metal

"It's all mine!": Have a mex in all the metal spots in one planet

"U mad, bro?" Smash a planet containing an enemy commander into another planet

"Can't touch this!" destroy x amount of nukes in one game

"All your base are belong to us" Build mexes over every single metal spot a vanquished opponent had them.

"Leroy Jenkins" In a team match kill all enemy commanders yourself

"kill it with fire" kill an enemy commander sing only infernos

"with one hand tied" Kill an enemy player that has 5x eco boost wile you had 1.

"iron courtain" kill x amout of units in one game with defenses

"Let peace rain" kill a commander using only bombers

I don't understand what's wrong with achievements forcing certain playstyles or deliberate, out of the way actions barring a very odd match.

Double planet smash: between a rock and a hard place
In a FFA, ally with someone to take out a player who (individually) is better than each of you: ...
be allied with all players at once or during the course of the match: Master of diplomacy
Stab an ally in the back in a FFA (best player?): Et tu, Brute?
Win by using only tanks/air/bots: Panzerdivision/The Royal Airforce/Swarm of death
Kill a commander with orbital stuff: Death from above
Destroy x amount of buildings with artillery: Ima make it rain bitch

No Going Easy: Annihilate an Uber employee
(or, alternatively: Better than the Best: Annihilate Brad Nicholson)

Livin' Life on a Prayer: Win a game after your commander is hit by a nuclear missile

Total Annihilation: Be the one to annihilate ALL opponents in a 10 (or more) player free for all

'Cause I can: Annihilate an opponent using only boom bots

TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL!!!: Drop a teleporter on an enemy planet and transport at least 300 units

Two Birds with One Stone: Destroy an enemy-occupied smashable moon with your own smashable moon

Yes that's a joke achievement. No I don't think it's a good idea.

That last one is the best.

playing chicken = smash a planet that is on its way to smash you

firing blanks = stop a planet in flight by destroying the Haley's

stay on target = kill a commander entirely with bombers an a metal planet

use the force Luke= kill an undetected commander with a nuke

Grindy achievements are lame and prove nothing. I think (most of) these encourage and obliquely inform people of the things they should be trying to do.
