About the VGA...

Yep, I'm talking about award shows in general and what they mean for a title. VGAs handled it very poorly.

Considering the poor overall quality and "MTV Video Music Awards" feel of the VGAs, I can do nothing but dismiss them as a joke. Horrible show, horrible production values and seemed like a lot of superfluous filler crap to show off some upcoming game trailers. Just give me 30 minutes of product announcements/trailers and I'll be happy. Dane Cook has a spot talking about best video game character? Could the VGAs be MORE out of touch with gamers?

To me, it's obviously one of those awards shows that tells the winners prior to the program and you'll only win if you're in attendance. It's a complete joke. I would much rather listen to IGN podcasters debate their game of the year choices than ever watch the VGAs again.

I hope the VGAs get herpes.

I don't think the VGAs are for gamers. Sounds odd but it's true.

Then who could they possibly be for? Crack babies, that's who, because no one in the gaming community or industry should feel that the VGAs did gaming as a whole any good the other night with that ridiculous display of visual and mental roadkill. I've seen 3rd grade talent shows go off better and have more compelling content. I feel like Spike TV raped my brain with that show. That network has a long way to go before it's no longer the equivalent of a pathetic single guy living in a dim apartment, surrounded by empty pizza boxes and strewing in his own stink.

Yeah, I pretty much hated the VGAs and hope they get herpes. Oh wait...they probably already do.

Oh thats right you got a job at gamestop (grats ) Now i def stand corrected haha, however without a great fan like you many people/parents might not notice a game not in a box. They will see a card and think, giftcard/membership someting. Thats all that i am trying to get at.

Oh my god you gave me a great idea, I'm getting an MNC card for my friend for Christmas. I'm also going to force Sray to join these forums and get the PC version, bahaha.
