    Yeah. That looked pretty awesome in the video.

    At first I thought, "Did the nuke damage or explosion radius get reduced?" And then everything started blowing up in an expanding circle.

    Was pretty awesome.

    Actually, it would be cool if it did that and the bright part of it lasted longer too. Nukes are short lived right now. :p

    Not a bad point, but I'm sure the current nuke explosion effect is just a placeholder. There's no point in creating a new effect that matches the speed+radius of the damage caused until they can say with certainty that the nuke's behaviour won't be changed. This is to avoid artists developing effects again and again as gameplay behaviour is changed.
