    That is because only few use them, but game needs to have it on every installed copy.

    If people paid 1000 bucks to have their own commanders made, The textures for the Commanders should ATLEAST be 1024X1024 so that they look good ingame.

    Going from 512x512 to 1024x1024 is a 4x increase in memory usage. Given the shaded styling of the textures, lower resolutions don't decrease the visual quality by much. But for commanders alone it could be worth it.

    Unit textures are more high quality than commander textures ATM, which is messed up.

    Most unit textures are 256x256, iirc. Don't have PA on this computer, so I can't check right now.

    Most unit textures also aren't downscaled from a higher resolution and therefore look as they were intended to look. ;)

    Isn't there only one commander with the issue you're talking about? I had assumed it was due to its extra geometry. Give more you have to take more and all that.

    (It has a rounded head. :p )

    Strictly opinion. I'm more looking for a game like Cnc Zero hour.
