A few n00b questions

^this.....in Australia, if there was an all star play list, i would be able to search for days and not get any other full aussie games...i can already do that now though.......

i hosted a game once, went an got some food, watched some tv, came back, no one in my game.....sucks...

I completely understand not wanting to fragment an already small community, however I believe that a lot of people lose enjoyment of the game due to it not having any sort of skill or experience based way of dividing players. Newbies get steamrolled, and experienced players grow bored of steamrolling.

I understand that as well, however there is obviously a certain amount of correlation between experience and skill. A skill based matchmaking system would of course be my first choice, but I also realize that would be much harder to implement, and thus much less likely to actually happen.

Anyway, I knew you guys were very much against any sort of team deathmatch playlist, but I didn't realize that you were so opposed to any sort of additional playlists.

i like the idea of 1-50 and 51+ playlists. the 1-50s can go to 51+ lobbies if they choose, but the 51+s may not enter the 1-50s.

I think there should be a mario cart style MNC in the future. just saying throw some bacon out to make people spin out. of course it would have more of a road rash style to it. Oh dear the possibilites. Do you guy's(the devsies) ever think of stuff like this or are you just focused on this game.

This thread seems to be a getting a bit off topic, so I had some n00b questions as well.

With the new changes to sniper's traps, will any pro/bots caught in the "blast" get frozen, or just anything in the activation area? After the trap goes off, it sounds like it becomes a temp shaved ice turret/lvl 1 trap, if so, will it create a "snowflake aura" around cloaked assassins?

I was going to ask about gunner deployed face plates and why some have them and some don't but the wiki pointed out that it was a lvl 3 skill.

In the age old question, cake or pie, does bacon trump all or would you need something like a bacon pie or bacon frosted cake to truly create something of uber proportions?

Is there a reason the Hotshots bots are more powerful than the Icemen? I've gone into private matches by myself, and the hotshots bots ALWAYS win.
