Well it's true that there is not exactly a competitive scene, but as you might see, we're at least trying to make it happen. Admittedly a ladder is a far reach, but we're doing our best by inviting people to join our skillplay and get gathers going. Besides, competitive, arranged game or bunch of gamers planning to play against each other. I don't exactly care what you call it, defining a word literally doesn't mean that's how you define it in a game. Now, competitive and pub seemed like two fit words, so why not
so all players get matched with players of similar ranking, which could make a better ladder of some sort. this is for an automated competitive system that people who play alone can do, which would encourage the players to compete unless you are talking about the pre-made team vs team (or clan vs clan) kind of competitive =/
bingo, sir also, automated matcmaking would be useless since I jump up to 5 stars in a day, play one skill play and I'm back to 3. Star rating is bad.
that's why i said something like "or a better system" (which i don't think we have currently) coz star rating is kinda limited =/ PS: so nobody applied so far? lol
There are like 2 or 3 good 'competitive' teams for this game. Of the games 200 players, that is 12-18 of them. Pretty much nobody has played a 'competitive' match because there is a substantial lack of a competitive scene, and competitive features to support it. One example of a competitive feature would be Voice chat. A voice chat you can hear that mutes all non essential sounds while in use (read as: mickey canter, taunts, bullets, jetpacks etc) would bean example of a competitive feature. A text box supporting entire sentences at once would be another competitive feature.
Get a team, challenge us, 7 days a week, we won't mind. what what voicechat is there already, you don't like it - use third party programs (teamspeak, mumble, ventrilo, pigeon mail) what You're telling me you want to stop mid match and type an essay? Such text box would be a nice feature, but it's isn't even remotely related to competetive in any way. Unless it's an essay competition among MNC players.
