1st DLC is FREE?!

We also have to take into consideration how anal Microsoft is about free content which is amazing that Uber is even pulling this off.

Way to go guys. I can't wait for all the great DLC, free and paid.

Perhaps my Clanmates are just more myopic than most when it comes to gaming. They tend to be very competitive and stick with one game at which they can become dominant. Right now they are split with some waiting for Halo Reach and the other waiting for CoD: BO. I'll continue to play MNC as long as it has a strong player base (easy to find good games) and doesn't get abandoned by the devs.

I would like to reiterate how happy I am to see Uber really get behind this game and engage the community. We do bitch a lot (it's the Internet after all) but if you can see through that you'll see that a majority is because we love playing this game and want to help make it better. More devs need to take a cue from how you are handling this game post-release.

So Valve can't do free DLC but Uber can? I'm confused. Any insight Scathis?

Personally most of my FPS'ing will be on Halo Reach once it hits (who cares about COD7?)

But, this game has one thing Halo Reach will never have. The fact that no matter what i'm doing on my xbox, im never more than 3 button clicks away from playing it. Guide. Quick Launch. MNC.

Thats one of the things i love about this game, its so quick to get into, and so devilishly addictive.

AND free DLC? Oh Uber, you are spoiling us.

A lot of companies have put out free DLC. I'd say it's all big titles, but even the Koei guys put free add-ons for Dynasty Warriors 6 E.

How did you guys make it free? I heard MS forced charge.

Basically there is a major time gate involved to get things through certification. This is one of the many reasons we don't typically talk dates.

This is proof that Uber truly does care and listen to their wonderful, sometimes obnoxious, Fanbase/Community!!

I can see free DLC for a new gametype, but that's about it, anything else for a $15 game would be like they're giving TOO much away for free.

Honestly, how can you be disappointed about free DLC in a world of Activisions and Microsofts? I don't even care if it's 1 map where I spawn and fall to my death repeatedly!
