The monitor I use is 2560 x 1440, but I subsample to 50% so my GPU can keep up. Sometimes PIP from hovering over a notification will crash the game. My graphics drivers are up to date.
Please remove your attachment as it may contain personal information. Verify that Planetary Annihilation is assigned to use your NVIDIA card. Your file indicates that you have 2 displays: Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) Native Mode: 3840 x 2160(p) (59.997Hz) Does this issue occur when you run your display at it's native resolution? (not 2560 x 1440) note: you can adjust the resolution of the UI & build bar in game settings.
Sorry, I put the wrong resolution down in my original post. I use the native resolution of the 3840 x 2160 monitor. I'll see if the issue still occurs on the 1920 x 1080 monitor, but I would still like the game to work on the larger monitor.
I found out that the problem is subsampling combined with GUI scale causes PIP to crash the game on any resolution. I figure that it's a bug.
