T2 bots get shrekt by t2 tanks. Seems like t2 bots are really only useful for destroying t1 units. Even though they cost less, they still completely suck and massing them is just even more hilariously bad because the sheller AoE will shrek larger groups.
Dox vs Tank Slammer vs Leveler They are similar situation. Tank usually win in directly conflict. But Leveler has the problem to deal with Dox spam due to the overkill. I feel that T2 bot is good to kill T1 bot, and T2 tanks is good to kill T1 tanks. If your opponent likes to spam the dox rather than T1 tanks, you should build slammer first rather than leveler first.

Isn't this supposed to be the case? Bots add some variety in roles but they were never meant to go head to head with vehicles. They have the speedy harassment and long range kiting roles early on (also with the Sparkler, AoE), but later on the first role is invalidated and the other two are available for vehicles so T2 bots get new roles, namely long-range hit scan (GIL-E), field repairs, offensive teleporters and salvage reclaiming (Mend), anti-orbital and anti-heavy air (Bluehawk), pure DPS with fragility (Slammer and Locust) and durable advanced construction at the front (Colonel). The roles seem to be laid out well and complementary to the vehicles, though I don't know if raw stats need a boost as I only use Mend and Bluehawks as the others don't seem to be very necessary.
Leveler beats slammer. Slammer is faster by nearly half, is amphibious, can fight underwater, has reasonable turn speed and does not overkill nearly as much versus t1 bots. Leveler has none of this. Slammer versus leveler is fine. Current balance loop: slammer<leveler<dox< slammer. Sheller>Bluehawk> sniper blue hawk has the utility of being anti-orbital, and the sniper has the utility of being anti- air. No vehicle is anti-orbital. Spinners or storms combined with shellers beat both air and snipers. Sniper is too weak, and blue hawk should prioritize orbital.
i agree, but colonel can be good in late game gil-e need more range, the gorilla bot more damage vs orbital, right now i would go with umbrella forever and leveler being inferior to dox is a myth in actual game he rape every t1 especially if you take advantage of bottlenecks passage, due to range of leveler... and anyway i want The Can or Sumo back for bot, or a clone of it, a slow *** motherfucker with a heavy laser turret(same as the one of the advanced tower) that kill the crap out of any tank it should come with 10k health and very very slow, damage around 400dps
*shrug* THe only time I can use T2 bots is on a super open map where a pure bot army will have a massive speed advantage over a mixed tank army. Then it's all about dat micro and staying the hell away from the levelers.
Didn't snipers used to have a serious problem with reaching critical mass? Where all you would build was snipers? That was never very fun.
You could beat sniperbots with dox. Because of slow rof and no splash, you always needed support units too.
Huh. Although once the game gets to that level of play, my computer usually frowns at continued dox use.
Well, it's not about spamming. Just simply that at a very small unit count level you get relationships like 4 sniper bots + 10 dox beats 5 sniper bots etc. I don't remember exact numbers, but it was synergistic like that.
I feel like grenadiers and sniperbots both have the problem that in an effort to keep them from being able to kite, they now require too much attention to make them actually fire. Slammer about the same against levels as dox do against bolos. Slammers still do an exceptional job at tearing through defenses. I would only like slammers to have a little bit better range so i don't have to babysit them constantly against tank blobs. But that would make them a bit imba. haha
I am not sure why the slammer is so weak. Is it intended since the slammer can be launched by unit cannon? So the slammer is one of the paratrooper units rather than main force unit.
