Its about quantum interactions in concousness process and possibly never dying informational pattern that can take on new vessels (when vessel dies, information does NOT stop existing, nor degenerate because its self sustaining computational mumbo jumbo, similar to why atoms dont rip them selves apart spontaneusly, there is a force holding them toghever, they are just in planck level reality, mathematical void, if there is a possibility of pattern coming back, pattern WILL come back to a computational substrate that can sustain it)

For those who are not aware, Gamma Ray Burst Progenitors are, by virtue of names, the "Progenitors" of this universe. It has long been suspected that humans are not the sole intelligent lifeforms on this planet, and newer findings have found that these entities, which are often made of plasma, and other exotic materials, *might* actually harbor true consciousness - though the degree of which is not known. It has also been said that, according to the article's sub-topic on "Neuron Star and Black Hole Mergers", that Gamma Ray Burst Progenitors are formed when Neutron Stars and Black Holes converge with each other. In that case, it would mean that, since such collisions are so common in the universe, that there might be a lot of these "progenitors" in the universe.

Right now, due to a lack of evidence, it is not known if these progenitors are hostile.
