This bridge has no space under it. But I know what you mean. That is why I put it at the water level.
Water under bridges should of been possible, but it was never really been tested under those conditions so sadly it's not a surprise it doesn't work. There's probably some optimizations that just check if there's land higher than the water rather than checking if there's an obstruction.
I hope you guys will try to fix this in the near future. Being able to path naval units under CSG would open up a huge amount of potential for interesting maps. @jables
You mean the normal system designer you can build ramps and make islands and stuff or you just keep on playing with the stats until you have the land what you want it to be witch takes forever. Also cgi or whatever i cant delete sometimes or even select existing ones.
At this time it is possible to do quite a bit with the system designer in the advanced mode. However it is buggy and not always easy. It takes a lot of patience and skill. Remember to look at the keybindings for the advanced editing in the settings.
This map has potential but also some glaring flaws. I think for 2v2s it needs to be a bit bigger, with longer bridges, slightly more land, and more water. My other major problem with this map is mostly due to a bug; naval cannot fire effectively over the ridges into the land bases. It looks so stupid as the battleship will move right up close and miss every shot. This breaks the map because it makes naval not very important, when you want fighting over it to be essential.
More land or more water? Can't have both. The battleship can for up there but needs a bit of distance. It is supposed to offer a bit of protection.
You can have both: Make the map bigger! I like the design, it feels very good when watching AIs battling each other! Will do a more detailed review once I played a 2v2 ShareArmy game!
