Ok we all know, LBs need work, that is pretty much a fact at this point.

We've discussed and dicussed tons of ideas.

Obviously one factor is of course it needs a small damage boost.

However the health issue is one I think that could be changed in an interesting way: rather than simply boosting its max health. Why not massively boost its regen speed?

Ok, every tower currently has to not sustain any damage for 30seconds before it starts regenerating health. It then regenerates 10% of its max health per second until full, or damaged.

What if the LB had double that? A LB would take 15seconds before it starts regenerating, and would regen 20% of its max health per second.

It would still die just as quickly under sustained fire, but it would be better at dealing with bots since you wouldn't have to worry as much about it dying from bot waves, and it would be a more sustainable temporary defense to allow the players an attempt to push out of their base and make some money to get better towers.

It'd probably still need a $25 drop off its maximum price and maybe 500more health but I think that would be an interesting balance change (at least worth testing)

then put it in the first LB thread instead of making another one.

Does the PC section not take up enough space to begin with?

I don't think so, I wish this forum was bigger. Not a lot going on here in general.

On topic, I think this is a fairly good idea.

Still say making it like it was the day it came out for xbox360, and then boosting it's price by 2x (so it's then 50/100/150).

This makes a fully upgraded lazorblazor maybe a bit weaker than a lvl2 rokkit, and less health, so it becomes worth it in every way and useful in every way again. Would love to see this, if they could drop lazorblazor damage on xbox version to begin with, they can boost it again and tinker with it's price.

Might as well replace it by the Metabo Lightning Coil, a tesla coil that springs over multiple targets depending on level and does extra damage to bots and less damage to players...

Or the Steel Peeler, that reduces the armor of targets in range

    Or the... the...
I'll come up with something -3-

    Edit:
Great... Now I must come up with funny ideas for Sponsored Turrets!

    Endorsement-related turrets

the Metabo Lightning Coil, a tesla coil that springs over multiple targets depending on level and does extra damage to bots and less damage to players. The turret prioritizes bots over players.

Level 1: hits 1 target hard, 2 others soft
Level 2: hits 2 targets hard, 4 others soft, adds mild stun on hard hits on bots
Level 3: hits 3 targets hard, 6 others soft, adds mild stun on soft hits on bots
Hacking: Increases range and recharge speed

...the Steel Peeler, that reduces the armor of targets in range

Level 1: lowers armor level by 1
Level 2: lowers armor level by 2
Level 3: lowers armor level by 3
    Hacking: increases range considerably

...The Iturba dampener, that fills the field with a sweet smelling scent that lowers enemy accuracy

Level 1: Reduces accuracy by 1 level
Level 2: Increased Range, reduces accuracy by 2 level
Level 3: Increased Range, reduces accuracy by 3 level
Hacking: Increase range and dampenes vision

...The Round Hound Ground Pound, that causes seismic shock waves which cause knockback and damage.

    Level 1: Regular
    Level 2: Increased Range
    Level 3: Increased Range
Hacking: might add stun when in range depending on hack level

...The BionoGrip Tractor Shredder, which grabs targets and pulls them towards a spinning blade or some other source of damage on it. Well, not pulls... yanks a little maybe.

    Level 1: grabs one target
Level 2: grabs two targets instead of one and pulls harder
Level 3: grabs three targets instead of two and increases damage
    Hacking: increases pull and range

...The Achilles Omniview, which displays enemies in range to every player anywhere on the map.

    Level 1: Regular
    Level 2: Increases Range
    Level 3: Increases Range
Hacking: Adds additional infomation in range depending on hack level, including juice level

...The ApocaLIPS Radiator, which radiates... radiation, slowly injuring players and bots in range and debuffing them for a brief period of time after leaving range. Might explode violently when destroyed and hurt -everyone- in range.

Level 1: Regular range, debuffs health regeneration
Level 2: Increased Range and damage, also Debuffs skill regeneration
Level 3: Increased range and damage, also eats away juice
    Hacking: Increases range considerably

The GrenADE Launcher, which fires assault-like grenades at the nearest target.

    Level 1: 1x3 launcher
Level 2: 2x3 launcher, longer range, faster fire
Level 3: 3x3 launcher, longer range, faster fire
    Hacking: Increases firing rate.

The GobiNumber, which lets enemy pro's health bars always appear as full, even though they aren't.

Level 1: Regular range, only affects health bar
Level 2: Increased range, supresses on-hit effects
Level 3: Increased range, supresses all hit-related effects
    Hacking: Increases range even more

The AmmoMule Bacon Station, which gives nearby pros mild ammo regeneration and temporary ammo boost while in range. Very rarely drops bacon on destruction for lulz.

Level 1: Gives 1 ammo boost level and mild regeneration
Level 2: gives 2 ammo boost levels and improved regeneration
Level 3: Gives 3 ammo boost levels and magazines hardly ever go empty
    Hacking: Increases range considerably

Naturally, those aren't suggestions... I just like to come up with sh*t!

Actually, i'll take those to their own threads right now!

Kind of an area-of-effect like ShaveIce, except it hurts
Would be handy if your team is getting pounded, weaken the enemy bots so you can clear them out a bit easier
