During a break while goofing around in some SuddenDeath Blitz I opted to take a look at the leaderboards Ended up coming across the leaderboards for Exhibition Blitz Over 10 million? On 10 rounds of the easiest difficulty Blitz? Yea... sure... I'm not even sure you could get $30/40,000 Few others that seem a bit wonky
I do to an extent Not so much "OMG! They should be removed for exploiting!", more of a "wtf is this?"
There's an infinite taunting spot if I remember correctly. Infinite taunting + $50 every however ofter you get it stacks up. Taunt macro + overnight = ridiculous money. I dunno if the infinite round glitch still works, but I never use either hack. I use my personal bests as personal bests. Glitching saps the fun for me. I don't know if they fixed either. In case they didn't I'm not specifying either to keep the abuse to a minimum.
No idea how it's done, but I have had a few games where the next wave didn't start At least they fixed the "Indestrutible Moneyball" exploit
You only get $50 per taunt when you have a kill against a pro in the ticker in the upper right of your HUD. Otherwise it's $5 You'd have to be "infinite taunting" for basically 3 weeks straight to get that kind of cash, assuming my calculator isn't lying to me. Even then you'd have to exploit the bot AI somehow to get them to stop attacking the moneyball for it to function so I really don't think it's legit. Like with how people use memory editors to up their stats in Killing Floor. People may not actually get this cash to spend in-game, but they might fool the game into thinking they earned ten million bucks for leaderboard purposes. The fact that it's $10002019 seems to support this. He probably added a 1 and a few zeroes on top of his $2019 score. IMO, though, if the leaderboards aren't going to be maintained they should probably be removed outright. No reason to waste internets on them.
You get $50 every little while. Maybe like 30 seconds, but Idk. Don't you think more people would be memory editing their stats if it was possible? *facepalm* I'm pretty sure you could save a leaderboard in a text file, but I could be wrong. I doubt it would take too much 'internets' to run them.
by placing a firebase in the right spot you can stall the jackbot you can then taunt at will indefinitely so if you really want to top the leaderboard have at it
Eh, eventually one of two things would happen 1. The FB kills the Jackbot 2. The Jackbot kills the FB Well, 3 cuz the Jackbot would either eventually walk away from it or go around it
In the spot, the firebase can't 'see' the Jackbot, and the Jackbot's flying blue things don't hit it. And due to Bots' targeting system, as long as it's in range, it will never walk away or stop attacking it.
I was trying to avoid saying it... Ah well, cats out of the bag. Yeah, if a nub is unused it will act as permanent cover against jackbots. Neither the FB nor the jackbot can hit each other, but the jackbot stops moving.
 Wait wait. Even if this was how this man was doing it, just do the simple maths: $10 000 000 assumed extra $5 each taunt That's 2 million taunts there. And lets say the taunt takes around 4 seconds. So that's roughly 92 days and 14 hours worth of consecutive taunting. Even if a macro was used in the process, come on. That's far too much dedication. EDIT: Has the game even been out for 92 days?
You get $50 every so often. Also, it's not ENTIRELY unlikely that the person threw in a juice buying macro in there. Press buy constantly, press juice constantly, press taunt constantly. Stand next to a juice stand and let the money roll in overnight. I don't feel like doing the math on how much that would reduce the time, but I think it'll at least be down to a weeks vacation.
actually the jackbot stops out of range of the firebase hacking the firebase will result in 1 dead jackbot
