Xbox one gains backwards compatibility

The key is on that page - "Play multiplayer with your friends, no matter which console they are on"
That, right there, is neat as heck...even if we can't party up (unless they change that too)

will the servers be cobined or will 1 play with 1 and 360 with 360 players?

Oh daaaaaaaamn! You're the first I know who got an invite from someone who actually ended up getting a message from xbox. Looks like I was wrong about what I said.. **** xbox support they continue to show me they know nothing about their own system.

I just tried sending some invites and it says that the people you invite will hear from xbox soon. So maybe you just need to be approved by xbox and meat certain requirements to get the message.
