My friend just got MNC for the Xbox. I am a PC gamer. Is there a way that he and I can play together from our two different versions of the game? Can you supply a link showing me where they state that it is possible? Thanks
As far as I know, the only Xbox/PC game with the ability to do that is Shadowrun. As it stands with MNC; the PC version is easier to patch through Steam than the Xbox version is to patch through Xbox Live, so I doubt that even if it were possible it would be too costly for the developers to keep both versions compatible.
Not to mention that PC Gamers would absolutely destroy console gamers (mouse vs controller). Console gamers would rage.
 The only class the mouse changes is the sniper. And the Tank's rail-gun. (Long range weapons) All other classes play pretty much the same on the controller I use. ... patiently waits for Polynomial to bring up the test where average PC gamers destroyed good console players.
We're finding a lot of skills that the mouse/keyboard setup gives advantages over. Yes, the Sniper Rifle and Rail Gun are the two obvious ones but we're finding more and more everyday. And no, there will not be any PC/Xbox players on the same server any time soon. It's a rather large technical leap that would need to be made.

An analog stick provides a continuous move towards a certain position with only back at the center being full stop. A mouse provides a vector for the time you take moving the mouse, once you stop your reticle stops as well. This results in more precise aiming with a mouse over an analog stick. This is of course not to say that consoles don't have ace killers, but in general mouse will beat a controller most of the time.
