You cannot have posted that title without knowing how everyone would construe it.

    You're a bad person.

I think our best bet for knowing when folks get the alpha key will be a sticky from the devs, then a lot of not-posting from the folks the actually got their keys.

There are enough folks in the 1000$+ backer groups that they might get their own special Alpha weekend stress test before the rest of us get in.

    We shall see.

I upgraded my ASA firewall from version 8.4(1) to 9.1(2) the other night. Does that count?

It's technically called a "Down"grade when you go from good to worse.

I decided to test Garat's article claims for myself. I can support that boot time and shutdown is faster, and the OS response time is noticeably faster. Combined with memory management, I consider this worth my time.

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/win ... 331-3.html
Both of the above articles support the conclusion that their is a 5-10% increase in gaming performance.

Oh and I have all the OS's for free so cost was not a consideration.

He could have a Microsoft technet subscription or work for Microsoft. Also many universities site license pretty much every Microsoft product so their students can use them all for free legally.

Technically you aren't supposed to use those at home unless your licensing agreement also covers employee's personal PCs. ;) (Which some do, but usually for MS office, not Windows itself.)

Its not like I need to have a box running 2k8r2 at home or anything... *whistles* ;)
