Welcome to the Michael Bay edition of Planetary Annihilation! The idea behind this mod is simple and obvious - make booms bigger. Now T1 land units boom like T2. T2 land units boom like small buildings. Small buildings boom like large buildings. Large buildings boom almost like Jigs. This mod will not change anything in unit jsons, so it's compatible with anything, and it can not break your game. You can use this with stuff like PA-FX and More Pew-Pew. I've made some changes to large building explosion. It should look better in orbit now. Also, t1 units now have same effects as t2. Because MOAR EXPLOSIONS!11

Daily updates lol So.. - smoke for t1 land unit explosion is much smaller, and it have smaller lifetime. So now in batlle you will be able to see battle itself, not only smoke. - For now, I'll consider land unit explosions and small building explosions done. For now. - Large building explosions is almost done, some small tweaks needed. (mostly to look good with orbital factory) - First pass on nuke effect. This will be cool. I really like the debris that comes out in the nuke explosion, but think the big yellowy glow at the start is a bit too... Big and yellow. Smaller and faster and whiter would be better I think.
I still not sure about those rolling smoke clouds. The T1 land unit explosion is much better then the other ones because of that I think. Also I would remove the rolling smoke clouds on orbital explosions completely. But otherwise great work really awesome.
I would like to remove smoke from orbital, but land and orbital buildings use same explosions, but I don't want to touch unit .jsons to make sure that this mod is compatible with other mods. It's possible to make them different - you can see sparks when orbital factory explodes, but you can't see them in land units explosions, because they end up being inside wrekage or underground.
Ok, so I like to watch the AI fight themselves, because I'm a sadistic git. But Jesus, your mod looks so cool!

I changed some stuff with nuke effect, big yellow thing is now smaller (not that much) and have nearly 2 times shorter lifetime. It still will almost completely cover your screen with light if you will look direcly at impact point. I've tried nuke spam, it looks fine, unles you fire 3+ nukes at same place. Even if you do like KillerKiwiJuice's profile picture, it't not that bad. Before releasing new update, I want to ask some questions: - Can I attach something like air titan's lightning ball to the unit without touching .jsons? (to units without idle animations) - Particles and smoke trails that are in large building explosion, if explosion happen in orbit, they drop down at insane speed. Can I change their dropping speed without changing how they work with land explosions?
1. No, not without touching .jsons. 2. Doubtful, but I'm no effects artist. Nice work. I might have to hit you up sometime to see if you'd be up for doing some stuff for the mod in my signature.
New version: - Some tweaks to nuke effect, debris will fly direcly out from explosion now, not from underground near it. - Intercepted nuke now have effect (nuke explosion on gas giant effect). Not final, I'll modify it. - Large building explosion has two times less light. It's look more orange because of that. Also, debris from it will be reworked because it looks bad in orbit. - Shorter smoke lifetime in t2 land unit explosion. Smoke was more annoying that I thought.
