When I mean groups, I mean factions or empires or something like that. My ideas is that groups will have logos, group ranks or what ever they want to do. Groups have alliances with other groups and they can be at peace or declare war on them. I don't know how this would work but it would be awesome to have huge battles between groups(empires) in galactic wars! If you agree say YES, and if you disagree say NO. If you do say YES please post things that might else make this better and if you said NO then say why this isn't a good idea. PA fan Cryonicfire PS. As I understand it yes there will be different "groups" with different back stories, goals, ect... They will just all use the same units. And although Uber cannot include Core or Arm units in PA for obvious reasons I'm sure someone somewhere will make a TA total conversion mod for PA.
YES! I would like the British players against the French against the American upstarts. Maybe the Uber group against ALL comers! Group tourneys (i.e. "King of the Mountain") Ladders, too.
This would be a metagame unto itself, completely seperate from GW. It would be cool, but it's a big feature to ask for. It requires a lot of persistance in the game to exist, which currently doesn't exist anywhere outside of GW. I want to know how these wars actually work. What servers do they happen on? How do you declare war? What if someone doesn't want to be the target of a war? Quite frankly; until you answer these questions I'd have to say NO.
