   i am trying to launch the game but everytime I click the icon It reinstalls the entire game and then tells me I need to verify my game files.

   What icon? Did you try to run PA.exe directly?
   
   Also please run DxDiag, press "Save All Information" and upload DxDiag.txt as attachment to post.
