So I've been wanting to pick up this game for a while but don't want to put the money down if it won't work. I have an XP computer, 3 gigahertz processor and a radeon 9600. It's all a bit outdated but it can run TF2 on medium settings well. So what do you think, worth a shot?

Also I've heard about the new SMNC coming out and it sounds like the game mechanics and general theme seem to have changed BUT it's free. So is it worth getting this now or do you think I wouldn't really be missing out if i skipped to that one?

    Thanks in advance!

You might be out of luck. That card's about 8 years old now, and MNC really uses dual/quad core CPU's. Maybe if every setting and the resolution was at rock bottom, you could get over 30fps, but I wouldn't recommend buying it with your current system.

SMNC will likely have slightly higher requirements too.

Darn, well, that's kind of what I expected. Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade one of these days, although it'll need to be a full out new computer. Just wishful thinking with the things I've been able to run. I'm able to run Oblivion no problem, Left 4 Dead throws a fit so it's really hit or miss with this thing.

    Thanks for the help!

Depending on your mobo and PSU, $200 for new(ish) CPU/GPU
