Your biggest bug and issue is the fact that the damn game starts off with online only! not everyone has access to a fast internet connection! I was so amped to play this game and then I buy it and boom, cant play it until an offline or local server option is available because the game freezes up every few seconds or so, is completely un-playable!, so sick of everything being "Online Only" please please please release an offline\private server option soon this game looks really good!
Because they haven't made it yet, it's not a priority, most people have a decent internet connection and letting loose the server end of the game to enable offline play would make debugging and testing rather more difficult at this stage of development.
Sorry to hear you're having issues, but if you've not got the internet to play online, you are going to have to wait for release before you can play offline games. As @DeadStretch pointed out, at every place the game is currently sold, there is a notice that the game will be available DRM free at launch, but requires an internet connection while it is still in testing. There are two main reasons for this: - Ease of crash and error logging - Prevention of piracy before the game's even come out
Welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear that you are having a rough time with your internet. Unfortunately the game is required to be online until official release, so that uber can track various things. Remember, beta is about helping with the development of the game firstly, and getting to play it early second. Sucks that you can't play, but I'm afraid it does state on the store page that online is required during early access. You could always try contacting customer support. Otherwise, hopefully you will wait it out and we'll see you come release day .
