Why Do people trash talk?

Why do people trash talk? Really, what does it acomplish? I will admit Im guilty of it sometimes when im really ticked off at something, but why do people do it to tick others off on purpose. Just because somone has an off game does not mean they are garbage. or that they suck. or that they need to die. It's like no one has manners anymore.

Also I would like to to take backwhat Isaid my last topic about quitters. I judged too quickly. I really do not want to be known as sore winner or sore loser.

To blow off steam and not throw your controller at the cat.

I think commenting on other peoples playing is annoying, I think just say don't use the hurt gun on juiced people or kindly get the hell away from my *** I can't escape.

That's why I stay in party chat. All of the **** talk with none of the problems. It doesn't matter if I talk **** in the party chat, since the other team can't hear me.

Because people are insecure. It is far easier to try to take other people down than raise yourself up.

I think trash talking is fun, if it's good natured and not meant to hurt. Of course, when people get all upset and start cussing me out just because I beat them, that's also kind of fun. :lol:

Exactly, a little good natured trash talking makes a little more competition fun, just like betting on a game or whatever. But just tearing someone down for winning or losing and you don't really know them is the hallmark of poor sportsmanship and not having parents that loved you.
