Why do my threads keep getting deleted?

We don't have age gates on this forum. So keep it clean and respectful. Your threads tend to be mean spirited and flame bait. Case in point with the two replies from you knuckleheads on this very thread that I deleted.

I was pretty sure a general pictures/internet comics topic would make it. That way, it makes it easier for you because you don't have to close all those topics with one pic of [anything made of bacon]!

Anything I make's only intentions are humor. I just want to laugh and laugh with others. Not at others...with others.

It doesn't matter how noble your intentions are if it's derogatory to someone else. If you don't understand the difference, err on the side of not posting it here. The interwebs are vast and I'm sure there are plenty of places you are free to be as funny as you want.

I believe the sense of the community on these forums and the game itself is a huge part of why I even still play the game. Not because the game isn't fun - it is. But this community is ****ing awesome, and I'm almost positive that the community itself has created much more replay value to this game.

I understand what you're doing by deleting threads that you think are potential flamebait. Big "whose weiner is thicker" battles on a forum is a surefire way to kill a community. But remember that this is a community of guys, who like to pick at each other and have a good time. The game itself is obviously marketed towards an older crowd (just listen to the Mickey Cantor lines, they are more suggestive than 95% of anything I've posted on this forum).

So on the other end of the spectrum, if you aren't going to let us goof off and be guys, that will down the community just as fast. Either that, or somebody will go make another forum, everybody will migrate there, and this one will be deader than a paraplegic on a tight rope.

Go for it. Go make another forum and knock yourself out and no one is stopping you.

Man, you really are mad. I don't how the hell I ever offended you so much. Definitely wasn't trying to. Never said I was making a forum. I'm just telling you - I've been around forums for a looooooooooong time (and by around, I mean actively posting on). There are very distinct patterns to small, community based forums like this. I know what I'm talking about (or else I wouldn't be posting it). I'm sorry if I hurt your pride by challenging your decision.

It's not about hurting my pride or getting me upset. If you can't play by the rules on this forum, go somewhere else. It's pretty simple and that's all I've been saying. Telling me how long you've been on forums or how this community is going to fall apart is not helping your cause. If you don't like it, go somewhere else, you have a choice.

Yeah, pretty much same exchange - I've seen it and I've been a part of it, literally at least 20 times over the last 12 years. For the sake of not arguing (especially one I know is ultimately doomed to go in circles forever), I won't say anything else in this thread.
