Could we please add forum/online handles to the livestream explanations of who's who? The livestreams clearly identify what each persons expertise is, but I sometimes find myself wonder how that translates to a dev posting on the forums, especially as more devs come out of the woodwork and are featured on the streams
I was thinking this as well, but it doesn't really bother me too much. For sure though I know that neutrino = Jon Mavor and garat = Marc Scattergood.
I thought the who's-who was fairly obvious. The way people(Uber) post on the fora are very similar to how they speak in the streams.
I have to disagree with this. The only reason I know Mavor is neutrino because he's the one I've seen the most of, and he's also the only one I've seen actually identified by someone else on the forums. I think the OP's question is a fair and legitimate concern. It's hard enough trying to piece together what forum name belongs to which name, do you really think people can differentate how they speak on the forums and compare it to the stream? There's a major difference between the two, and I would know. My friends and I get that problem all the time.
Well I can't, so either a sticky would suffice, or add it to the livestream. I personally had no idea neutrino was Mavor for quite some time. In fact I had assumed Scattergood was Scathis due to the similarity in the names. Whoever is in control of the livestream loves to screw around and play with the text on screen, which is perfectly fine, but it's clear there's no strict standard or template being used. Adding the online handles should be a piece of cake.
