Who is the true spiritual successor to TA?

Uber has suggested that they intend for PA to be the spiritual successor to TA. However, on the main page for FAF, (www.faforever.com) they, too, describe themselves as the spiritual successor to TA. Oh my my my. (edit: actually, they say Forged Alliance is the spiritual successor. And that's not even an option in my poll. AAAhahahahahaaa.... Suck it!)

Here, I'd like us to decide once and for all who it really is.

Supreme Commander (and thus Forged Alliance) is a different game though. I say this as someone who played a lot of Supreme Commander, and only then played Total Annihilation. Even the simple things such as units damaging friendly units and wreckage and the height of terrain playing a crucial role make the game vastly different.

Planetary Annihilation, I think, is more like Total Annihilation in that regard.

Very thoughtful! I actually have no opinion on this whatsoever, and really enjoy both PA and FA, even though PA isn't yet done.

It doesn't really matter, PA is pulling useful bits out of all kinds of different games, not just from TA/SupCom.
