Who else thinks this is the coolest fix in the latest patch

    Being able to see your base from the moon! It looks really impressive being able to see your base and all from afar!

    Dont know it too. Great. Looks fantastic!

    There comes up one question to me:
    Like from this viewpoint, will it be possible to select units and give orders on the planet?

    I assume not, only those on the planet you view.
    Otherwise drag selecting units could get messy...

    Not when I last tried it. At least on my system the units where shown above the planet in selection. This latest one seems to have done it.

    maybe the game behaves differently from one pc to another

    This is what they meant with this changenote:
    The game basically knows now that there are multiple planets to play on.

    Actually, not true. this is new. We just added in the ability for the sim to know about multiple bodies. If you have certain dev tools, you can even build on the moon. But since there's no legit way to get there yet.. well.. Soon. :)

    I actually tweeted about it a while back, but as it requires hacks, we haven't played that way again since yet. We know it works, but we haven't spent any time on it yet. We'd rather stay focused on getting the features in that are needed to do it right.

    I left clicked on the moon with the commander and i didnt see him rest of the game XD In otherwords I couldnt lose but I lost my base so I couldnt win :(
