Which class is best at full map control?

Who can control bots and Enemy's best?
Support for this guy.
Firebase stops bots from moving, and kills them. The Support also has an awesome shotgun to kill pro's.

Sniper by far. Ohk capability at any range, explosive rounds and flak for aoe damage, ice traps, flak and explosive rounds for area denial, and the most op juice rate from mid game onward (with very little risk to the sniper while gaining juice. )

The only thing he can't do is kill turrets well. But at that point you are not really talking about map control anymore.

I would say gunner but he's terrible at pushing bots, but paired with a good tank or assassin and its game over.

For solo map control I would have to say tank, he can take out bots like its nothing, and push the hurt on pros.

a proper tank can control best , especially one who uses the jump jets well to scale the map with lvl3 nades. the rail gun cuts through blackjacks like a lightsaber through butter. the death bloom nukes all surrounding bots

Full map control to me means able to affect damn near the full map. Only the sniper can do this with the insane sight lanes available in the current crop of maps. They can also pin you in their base damn near solo with just two ice traps.

I'm gonna go make a sniper jerk-trap build now.

Tank. He can control Bots, harass you at long range, destroy you at close range and - most importantly - has an epic beard.

If the Sniper had a handlebar moustache, then maybe he would be the best. As it stands, he can't take enough punishment - in my opinion.

And maybe if they made his voice less.. obnoxious.

I think he's hilarious. He starts making noises like Beavis (of Beavis & Butt-Head) if you keep missing grapples, and the whole "l337 MLG" stuff is fantastic - when he talks about nerfing himself, or calling hax.

Sniper by a....longshot?



For all the reasons Hudson mentioned. The Sniper has such dominant map control when in the right position that it's like playing shepherd to a flock of prosheep, or playing day care center employee to a bunch of children.

Minigun-Sniper is right behind Rifle-Sniper, but replace headshot capability with splitting explosive rounds on alternate fire.

Sniper simply because long range of sight and serious damage along with explosive rounds to take out players behind corners, bot killing, good grapples to ring out players like juiced ones, traps to freeze anything about, and flak on turrets or bots, also insanely fast juice gain to switch over to SMG and clear out people.

I think assassin/sniper/tank are all equal botwise, she can dash around the map like mad, the tank can kill a group of bots one hit, and the sniper has range

Don't get me wrong, I think his voice is VERY fitting for the personality in the "How to Play" section. I just get annoyed when its his taunt from an enemy that just put a bullet in my head.

xD I get annoyed when I play Sniper, kill people and then some random guy who's a Sniper on my team starts taunting as if he got the kill right next to me. I try and run away then so people don't think it was me taunting. I've had that happen a lot. Very annoying. Sniper has some quotes that annoy me to no end too. "At least SOMEONE here is doing their job!" Gosh I hate that quote so much, I try and run away from Supports to not hear it xD

The sniper is definitely the best at full map control, it's pretty much what the class was designed for. I would say that the gunner and then the tank are the second and third best at full map control respectively, however the tank is without a doubt the best at controlling a smaller portion of the map.

Tanks are terrifying but only in their section of the map. I see a Tank and I will run away unless his health is in the red and even then those guys are tough! A Sniper is scary anywhere. I've been headshot from the most ridiculous places before, only to go "Oh my gosh where did that bullet come from?!" And that's without explosive rounds. I've shot at turrets and bots only to be in complete shock when an invisible Assassin or Support around the corner drops dead. Then of course there's the whole trying to Assassin grapple a Sniper only to fail and get booted out of the arena. One good Sniper can lock down a map, but he is nothing without the rest of the team

And when the tank designates YOU as his section of the map, you best get to steppin!

Sniper foa show. I mean, a huge amount of my sniper guide is about AOE, crowd control, gaining juice from large bot mobs, quickly killing large groups of bots, multi-kills using sniper 3 and flak..list goes on.
