I saw alot of players lately using : RoF/Armor/SR and Armor/RoF/SR on Tank. Which build do you think is better? I personally use Gold RoF build for Rail Gun.
RoF/Armour/Skill I like to stay within my half of the map and push bots/kill with my railgun. I find silver armour is good enough for me.
I prefer the Armor/RoF/Skill. I find that it is the perfect build for me. The RoF is almost as good as gold, and the extra armor will give you the extra health you need to fight close-range against any class. I am constantly beating other tanks who use RoF/Armor/Skill. Wildman is one of the few people to give me trouble when we face off as tanks. It seems like I beat him at close range, but his railgun and grenades skills are excellent at long range. It really comes down to personal preference. Do you like close combat or long range more? I find that I do a bit of both, so I choose the extra armor. You really have to be good with the railgun before you think about Gold RoF with Bronze accuracy in a tank build. I have found that Charge 3 with a blossom will take down just about anything, so I prefer the Armor over the RoF. BTW, Gold armor with passive three is amazing. You can take a katana backstab with about 30% health left.
My current Tank build is a bit different then the ones I have in my guide. Gold RoF Silver Armor Bronze Clip Size The lack of a Skill Recovery endorsement might be hard to get used to at first but after a handful of games you don't even feel a difference. Jet gun for pushing bots and lights, Railgun for pushing Pros and bots from a distance. The clip size makes this all that much more easy, especially on the Railgun.
RoF/Armor/Acc I didn't realize how much of a difference it made on assaults. It helps me out in pubs since I find myself constantly playing 5 assaults. I use silver accuracy on my gunner as well.
To be fair there's not really a whole lot of other endorsements to use for a gunner. Most people only use speed on joke builds for any class and skill recovery is next to useless for gunners. Sometimes you'll find gunners with clipsize or reload for personal preference, but most have rof, acc and armor in some order. I'm really temped to go with gold accuracy gunner just to see what it's like. Does acc really help the hit detection on the railgun? I thought that was something of a myth?
Accuracy does in fact help with the hit detection with the Railgun as well as making it's reticule smaller making it easier to aim and hit the smaller built classes.
Accuracy is really effective on the tank. RoF/Acc/Skill is an amazing tank build if you can railgun well. Accuracy is also effective in the bronze location. I have found that the accuracy is great for pinpoint precision across the map. It all comes down to preference.
